Many minds, hearts and hands are needed to achieve the goal of making Mother-Friendly care a reality. The maternity care system is in great need of evidence-based, cost-effective care, and it will take all of us to make it happen. Here are a few of the many ways you can become involved in the Coalition for Improving Maternity Services (CIMS).

Join CIMS

CIMS is an inclusive coalition and shares its resources without restriction. Formal membership was created as a way to build on our collective strength and to establish a more structured way for individuals and organizations to support our mission. CIMS offers Individual and Organizational Memberships. Please consider adding your name or your organization’s name to our list of distinguished members.

Endorse the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative (MFCI)

It is only through the power of volunteers that CIMS is able to advance the cause of Making Mother-Friendly Care A Reality. And we have so much more yet to accomplish! Please consider contributing your time and talents to one of our committees or participating in on-going projects. Join the CIMS Yahoo Discussion Groups

Moderated discussion groups provide an ongoing dialogue among CIMS supporters. The MFCI News group shares communications about CIMS individual and organizational activities and provides a forum to discuss of hot topics related to maternity care.
